Goo.gl and Google Short Links

I am a big fan of goo.gl.  It creates shortlinks for you in an instant and it offers you a QR code and analytics so you can see how many clicks you link has gotten (one for each of our students?) and where those clicks came from.

If you ever get a URL with a "O" or "l" in it, it is best refresh the page and get a new one. Those characters confuse users and can lead to some erroneous and embarrassing links.

50 Sites guest Jessee Thorstad takes it a step further.  He embeds Google Short links in his school's Google Apps so he get a personalized URL every time.  Very cool.  Check it out.
