I stumbled across Acrobat while comparison shopping for free document editing. Indeed, their Buzzword is a great tool, but I was not convinced to dump Google Docs. However, while there I discovered Adobe Connect Now. Now THIS is something worth noticing. Adobe Connect Now allows you to share your screen with another computer, or computers. There is no download required. No sign up on the part of the other participant. It is so easy. You can showcase items on your computer, such as how to troubleshoot a tech issue. You can even give a presentation complete with webcam and live chat. More importantly, you can request control of the other person's computer, allowing you to remotely show a user how to complete a task or solve a tech problem. You can even collaborate on documents and programs. Brilliant. Free. Innovative.
